EMB Connect links to your own WhatsApp account as one more device, the way WhatsApp Desktop does, and gives Claude Code the tools for it. Read, search, transcribe, draft. Everything runs on your machine, and nothing is sent without your word.

Each one is a tool the connector gives Claude today. Reading is immediate; anything that changes something is a draft you approve first.
Find anyone
People and groups by name, in Hebrew or English, or by phone number.
Read a conversation
Any chat, day by day, with replies, media, documents and calls as they happened.
Search everything
Messages, captions, file names and transcripts, full text.
Transcribe voice notes
On your computer, by a local Whisper model. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Draft, then send
Every message is a draft with the exact recipient and text. It goes out when you say so.
Manage groups
Create one, add people, change its name, photo, settings and admins. Drafts first, always.

You need Claude Code, a WhatsApp account, and a computer that stays on while you use it.
03On your computer, said plainly
Your messages never leave your machine.
The engine, its database, the media and the transcription model all run on your computer. EMBTEC runs no server for it and receives nothing: not your messages, not your contacts, not usage. Claude sees only what you ask it to look at, in your own Claude Code session. The linked session is a file on your computer; treat it like a password, and unlink the device from your phone to end it.
EMB Connect is an unofficial WhatsApp client. WhatsApp’s terms forbid those, and the risk of a block on your account is not zero. Reading, and replying to people who write to you, is the lowest-risk use; bulk or automated sending is not what this is for, and the tools do not do it. If you can, link a second number first.
